HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

• When excavated, each piece is registered to a milling statement number of MPI. (Ministry of Primary Industries of New Zealand). This normally includes the date and location of excavation.
• During production, each piece is assigned a serial number by the manufacturer.
• In the meantime, the manufacturer also radiocarbon dates the Ancient Kauri to identify how long it was buried in the swamp.
• The brand registers the serial numbers with AncientKauri.org, creating a unique information page for each item.
• As the item travels down the supply chain, its registration tracks every change of ownership. These changes are compiled to create a detailed ownership history provided with every registration.
• When working with a customer, the customer can access the AncientKauri.org with any device to display the registration and verify the Ancient Kauri item’s authenticity.
•Once the Ancient Kauri item is purchased, the customer uses AncientKauri.org to register ownership of their item and create a AncientKauri.org account. The registration will immediately transfer to that account.
•Upon resale, the owner can transfer the registration to the new owner’s account on the AncientKauri.org.
